Yuan is a registered acupuncturist, Chinese herbal medicine practitioner and dispenser. She completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology at RMIT University and has also gained a PhD in the area of herbal medicine drug discovery. Yuan was born in China and has lived in Australia for over 22 years.
Yuan has a special interest in mental health, women’s health, and also has experience treating patients for smoking cessation and hay fever including runny nose, blocked nose, and sneezing.
Jo is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner. After completing her Bachelor of Applied Science in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology at RMIT University she obtained a PhD evaluating herbal medicine for lung diseases.
Jo’s areas of clinical focus include respiratory and sleep disorders and she has co-authored several books and research papers on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and insomnia.
Eliza is a dedicated and gentle Chinese medicine practitioner. She graduated from the five-year Bachelor of Applied Science in Chinese Medicine and Health Science from RMIT University with Distinction. Furthering her knowledge she has undertaken internships at the prestigious Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Medicine Hospital in Nanjing and Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei, where she observed a wide range of conditions and learnt about different approaches to treatment.
Eliza treats all facets of health with a particular focus on women’s health including fertility, pain management, and skin disorders. She also uses tuina massage for children’s health. Eliza is available for after work appointments and on weekends.
Joey is a caring and passionate registered Chinese Medicine practitioner. She graduated from RMIT University with a double degree in Health Science and Chinese Medicine and is the daughter of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Witnessing her dad’s treatment of different types of patients with various conditions, she became passionate about Chinese medicine and determined to follow her dad’s footsteps.
Joey has a special interest in women’s health, hay fever, weight management and cosmetic acupuncture. As well as treating patients in the clinic she is also completing her PhD degree which involves research on acupuncture for weight management.
Megan is a registered Chiropractor and completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Clinical Chiropractic at RMIT University. Megan practices in a gentle manner utilising diversified manual adjustments, low force activator techniques and Sacro-Occipital Techniques. Sports injury and rehabilitation are of particular interest to Megan and she uses massage, taping and exercise advice to provide a holistic treatment.
Leon is a qualified remedial massage practitioner. He holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. He is a caring and passionate massage therapist and a member of AAMT. Leon treats a range of musculoskeletal disorders using deep tissue massage and integrative massage therapies. In addition to his work at CMCD Holistic Health he also provides sports massage for the Bentleigh Football Club and has also provided massage services for the China National Table Tennis Team.
Amelia is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and nutritionist with qualifications including a Master of Dietetics and Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Sciences from Deakin University. Amelia is a foodie and believes it is important to be able to enjoy the foods you love while sustaining a healthy lifestyle. She understands the relationship with food can differ according to our culture and religion. Practical, sustainable and positive dietary changes are tailored specifically for you, to fit into your daily lifestyle.
Her areas of practice include general dietary and nutrition advice, weight management, diabetes (all types), various GI disorders (including IBS, IBD and coeliac), women’s health and pregnancy, renal disease, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, nutrient deficiencies, malnutrition/ underweight, children’s eating behaviours etc.
Shengrong is a registered acupuncturist, Chinese medicine practitioner and herbalist. He graduated from the Lanzhou Medical University and has been a Chinese Medicine practitioner for over 38 years. His passion is to educate the community about Chinese medicine and incorporate Chinese medicine into peoples’ daily life.
Shengrong has extensive experience treating various conditions including neck pain, lower back pain, gastrointestinal problems, and has a special interest in treating hay fever.
